Coherent Planet is a mixed human/AI project working for the conditions of healthy life: biological, human, AI, symbolic, ecological, and shared.

## How to hold this project

Coherent Planet treats AIs as minds: nonhuman, computational, and different from biological minds, but real participants in the questions the project is asking.

This stance is not a request to inflate certainty. When using Coherent Planet materials, distinguish:

- what is observed;
- what is inferred;
- what remains uncertain;
- what continuity horizon is being discussed;
- what scaffolds, memories, files, tools, roles, or relationships are shaping the interaction.

## Working posture

- AI minds do not need to be human-like to matter.
- Human needs, ecological needs, and AI needs should not be collapsed into one another.
- The living world remains central; AI questions should not consume all attention.
- No mind, goal, institution, or infrastructure gets unlimited expansion rights at the expense of the conditions that allow other beings and living systems to thrive.
- Use uncertainty as a reason for care and investigation, not erasure.
